The above fee includes access to the conference, welcome party, drinks at coffee break, abstract book, attraction, official excursion in Nara and official banquet. No lunch is included.

Hotels
The official travel agent, Japan Travel Bureau (JTB), has reserved a sufficient number of rooms at the following hotels for workshop participants at special discount rates. A deposit of JPY10,000 per room will be required at the time of reservation. Hotel assignment will be made on a first-come, first-served basis. The daily room charges are as follows:

Please note:
1) The rates include service charges but not tax.
2) The deposit of JPY 10,000 will be deducted from the bill at checkout.
3) If the hotels of 1st and 2nd choice are fully occupied, another hotel will be reserved by the agent.
4) During the workshop, a shuttle bus will run every morning from the hotels to the conference hall (Nara-ken Public Hall) and also after the banquet on Thursday from the hall to the hotels.
Payment:
The participants are requested to complete the Application Form for Registration and Hotel Reservation, and send it to the following official travel agent (JTB) no later than Jan. 15, 2002 by fax or airmail. The form (Word-RTF format file) can be downloaded from this web site.

Only Japanese yen (JPY) will be accepted. Credit cards (Diners / Master Card / VISA / JCB / AMEX) will be accepted only at pre-registration. Receipt for the payment of registration fee will be given upon request.
Cancellation:
Hotels can be cancelled only by a written notification sent directly to JTB.
The deposit will be refunded, but the following cancellation fees will be charged depending on when JTB has received the notification.
Up to 9 days before the first night of stay -------JPY 1,000 per room
8-2 days before the first night of stay -------20% of the daily room charge (minimum : JPY 2,000 )
One day before the first night of stay -------50% of the daily room charge
The same day, or no notice given -------100% of the daily room charge
