An excellent system for the production of radioactive agents

One of the outstanding features of the NIRS is the advanced molecular probe production system, which is in routine use. The synthesis and transportation system developed by the NIRS automates most of the processes involved in the preparation and use of radioactive agents. These steps include the recovery of radioisotopes from the cyclotron, chemical synthesis of radiopharmaceuticals, purification, formulation, dispensing, quality control and their administration to patients. This system ensures that operators are protected against radiation exposure at all times.

The NIRS can synthesize more than 100 types of high quality and safe molecular probes at a frequency of supply (4-10/day) more than twice that of other centers, satisfying a wide variety of needs ranging from basic studies to clinical applications.
