Dear ICCHIBAN participants,
We are happy to inform you that we will have Proton-ICCHIBAN-2 experiment on Jan. 29th and Feb. 5th, 2010 in NIRS cyclotron. As we mentioned in the last WRMISS in Dublin, we would like to receive your detectors by Jan. 15th (Fri), 2010.
The question from you must be how many detectors we need. But, it depends on how many groups will participate to the experiment. Because the beam size of beam line in the cyclotron is smaller than HIMAC BIO course, the number of detectors in one shot is less and we may take more hours to expose all detectors.
So, would you please let me know whether that you will participate to the Proton-ICCHIBAN-2 experiments as oon as possible? In addition, it is helpful that you send us information of your detectors (the size, thickness, required numbers of detectors for one shot and so on.). We are planning to prepare common holders for your detectors in order to forgive direct comparison. Because the beam energy of proton is so low, the thickness of cover material of the holder is important.
Also, we would like to remind that the deadline of your report of the past experiments is December 31st, 2009. I am sorry if you have sent us your report.
We are looking forward to hearing your participation.
With best regards,
Yukio Uchihori on behalf of ICCHIBAN Working Group
